With PayPal USD, you can send money to other countries: instructions
PayPal has launched a new service on its Xoom service. The company’s customers can now send money to other countries using PayPal USD.
The new feature allows Xoom customers in the US to convert stablecoins into dollars with just a few clicks. PayPal has developed a dedicated hub for cryptocurrency transactions. The transaction has no additional fees, and it is available to recipients from 160 countries. The company plans to expand the list of countries in the future.
Jose Fernandez da Ponte of PayPal noted the advantages of using stablecoin. According to him, the company developed its digital currency for two reasons:
– to provide a reliable instrument with stable value;
– to integrate it into various services to enhance the customer experience.
PayPal USD now enables cross-border payments without additional hassle or cost. This service on the Xoom service opens up new possibilities for introducing cryptocurrencies into everyday processes. It also ensures the reliability of money transfers regardless of the recipient’s location.
PayPal also highlights the low cost of the service compared to competitors.
Instructions on how to make payments
The Stablecoin transfer feature is available on all PayPal and Xoom apps. To send money, you need to follow a series of simple steps:
– click the appropriate button to send money;
– select the desired country from the list of available countries;
– choose the option to deliver the funds to the recipient (depending on the country);
– enter the recipient’s bank account number or mobile wallet number;
– another option is to select the location where the recipient will pick up the money and mark their details;
– mark the stablecoin as a payment method and sell it for dollars;
– the funds from the sale of the cryptocurrency are transferred to the customer’s PayPal account;
– the required transaction amount is automatically withdrawn from the account after clicking the “Send” button.
Transactions not denominated in dollars will be converted to that currency at the current exchange rate.
Other PayPal solutions
The possibility of sending money in cryptocurrency is not the only news from the American payment system. In the spring of 2023, the company launched a service for small businesses. The PayPal Complete Payments service is available in 22 countries, but the developer plans to expand the list. Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses are the target of the solution. Now, they can accept payments from cards, Apple and Google Pay, BNPL and other services.
In addition, the solution allows users to track orders after the transaction. All information remains stored in the service, preventing disputes between buyers and sellers. The solution integrates with popular platforms, including Adobe Commerce and WooCommerce.
